How does a urinal cistern works

We have one at work that just appears to consist of a supply pipe entering a cistern. The Hydraulic Valve is an automatic urinal flush control valve. The valve uses a simple patented mechanism which prevents water waste by ensuring that the auto-flush cistern is only fille and can only flush, when the washroom is used. First: A Cistern view of a urinal flushing.

This has a beige bell syphon and a timer which. Exposed Cistern for Urinals in Plastic or Stainless Steel (model 131). Alternatively a quick water fill using a bucket, or similar, will also work. A urinal is a sanitary plumbing fixture for urination only, predominantly used by males. A constant drip-feed of water slowly fills the cistern until a tipping point is.

Most waterless urinals do not prevent odorous staining on the surface of the. However, some odor-trapping devices work better than others in the longer term. Its a simple vertical outlet pipe inside the cistern covered partly by a 'bell' which has an inch or so gap at the base.

Presumably there's a siphon at work, but how is it suddenly triggered by a very. I'm just referring to the mechanical kind.
