How to test a three port valve

I have a port valve which has stopped moving to mid point and central heating only positions. Failure to supply 240v to the grey wire from programmer HW OFF terminal or the satisfied terminal on cylinder stat. If valve does not move beyond mid position suspect micro switch or no.

Faulty Immersion 3-Port Valve? Firstly, the immersion was blowing the rewirable fuse. How do I test to find out if it is the motor that is faulty not the body.

Do I need to drain the complete system to change the way valve body.

Honeywell V4073A mid-position motorised valve (port valve). When we buy new Honeywell valves to put on stock we check that they are in the locked open . Not on my two port Honeywell valves in normal use either. My central heating has a problem with the port diverter valve. The V4073A valve has been designed to control the flow of. Check manual lever is in 'AUTO' position.

A and B to be open at the same time. Should the Motorised Valve fail to function correctly, check:. ALso called a 'port valve', 'Zone valve', 'heating valve' 'port valve',.

Motor doesnt move - Ok, first check the power to the motor - your looking for 240v AC, .
