Water heater won't drain

Your water heater won't drain without breaking the suction. Don't drain, just open the drain valve and let the water pressure flush it out.

I have a ten-year old natural gas hot water heater. The warranty was years since it had the circulating rod in it. Feb 20- Then I looked into how to drain the hot water heater.


So no ideas as to why my water heater won't drain?
