It clearly shows you know little about cars if you think braided hoses are a 'chavy add on'. Definatly worth it, and there not that expensive. Talk to me about braided brake lines.

Yes steel braided brake hoses are worth the money. They cannot be inspecte and have to be . If you're looking to make improvements to your standard brake system, then braided brake lines should be one of your first ports of call when looking at brake .
What are the advantages of steel brake lines? What are the disadvantages of rubber brake lines?
